Quick access to certain folders and program start
With ASuite you access quickly a certain folder, start a program or call up Internet
pages. With a double click on the tray icon you call up the program window. Open File -
Options and go to the register "Various" . Under "Left click" set up "Show window" in
order to reach this window by just a simple click in the future. Create the appropriate
categories in the listing area and then assign the program links accordingly. With "Add
software" you open the window "Properties" of a new program link. In the General register
you put in the program name, program version and possibly the homepage address of the
program. The next step is to create a path from the field "Executable" to a program, a
folder or an Internet address. In the Advanced register, if you choose Autoexecute -
"Always on startup", the program will start automatically when ASuite is used. In
addition to that, here it is possible to activate a hotkey which makes you start the
program directly. The Information register allows you to describe the program, to assess
it and to add any further notes. With "Scan for files" in the File menu you will be able
to copy quickly any links to all "EXE-files" which are in a certain register into the
list. The links are not only available by the ASuite window but also by the context menu
of the tray icon. You may have to use the search function if there are accumulated many
links. On the homepage, there is also offered a ASuite version for download which is
executable without installation. It would be useful as a program starter for a USB stick,
for instance.

Starting programs by hotkey and inserting text passages
Start programs with a hotkey or insert text passages of frequent use. With a left mouse
click on the tray icon the program calls up the program window. Some hotkeys are already
stored but can be modified at any time. Additional hotkeys can be defined by a plus sign
and - by the way - also the window-button can be used for it. As soon as the cursor
appears in the linking area press the chosen key combination. In the field "Write text"
you can write down a complimentary close or a special character, for example. You also
can call up other hotkeys in the text. Therefore you have to put the defined hotkey into
brackets: [Win+S]. In case you want a Clavier+ special character like a bracket to be
written in the text, you have to put a backslash first \[. In order to start a program go
to "Launch a program". Parameters are permitted. This is why the command "iexplore.exe"
http://www.opensource-dvd.org/ works out, not only starting the Internet Explorer but
also loading an internet page. With a tick before "Launch Clavier+ at Windows startup"
you will obtain an automatic start with windows.

Serves as a stop watch, an alarm clock, countdown and countup enumerator respectively
Compact Timer can be used as a stop watch, alarm clock with reminder function as well as
countdown and countup enumerator respectively. Click on the new-button to open a window.
Here, you set up a new timer. You introduce a short text under "reminder message" to be
announced after expiration of a certain time. The text will appear in a window and can be
sent to you by e-mail if wanted. You can emphasize the message by an acoustic sign. In
order to do so, the program will use or its own audio file or one of your WAV files. In
addition to the announcement of a certain text, Compact Timer also can start a program or
call up a certain internet page (Actions - Add File/Add Link). Each timer you have set up
will be memorized automatically. The display and editing of all memorized timers are
carried out by "manage timers" in the file menu. There is the advantageous possibility of
starting several timers simultaneously. You activate the automatic start with windows in
"options", put the program window on "always in the foreground" and tell Compact Timer
the data of your e-mail account. Below "opacity" in the view menu the transparency of the
program window can be modified. In case the program does not start, you will need
Microsoft .NET Framework from 2.0 on.

Creates desktop links to newly connected storage media
Desk Drive creates automatically links to newly connected USB storage media and data
media which you insert into your DVD- or CD-drive. After a double click on the link,
Explorer will lead you directly to the content of the medium. In case there is an
"autorun.inf" , it will be accomplished. After removing the medium, the desktop icon
disappears as well. If the medium used is an USB-stick, Desk Drive notifies besides the
drive letter also the free storage space of the data medium. In the settings which you
select in the context menu of the tray icon (right mouse button) you activate the
autoboot of the program. In addition to that, here you tell Desk Drive which media to be
responsive and which to exclude. If the program does not start, you will need Microsoft
.NET Framework from 2.0 or higher.

Amplifies the functionality of the clipboard
An indispensable tool in order to extend the functionality of the clipboard. It stores
all text copies up to the maximum number of copies (Options - General) you may have
determined before. You will bring the list of the entries into the foreground by a simple
click with the left mouse button on the tray icon. Just a double click and the requested
copy will be integrated into the currently opened program. Every entry can be modified or
deleted in the context menu. In order to have a better view it is possible to create
groups each of which you assign certain copies to. To call up one of the last ten copies
certain hotkeys can be created. In the Quick Options you cannot only attribute
transparency to the ditto window but also use the function "Always Roll-up". As soon as
the mouse leaves the area of the ditto window it rolls up to a narrow vertical bar. To
roll it out, just use the mouse to point at any part of the bar. This function is
especially making sense together with "Always on Top". In order to find certain entries
much faster, go down to the search field. Under "Options - Friends" you can introduce up
to 15 IP addresses of your network which you send copies to by "Sent to".

Offers functions for a better window administration
DM2 is a true treasure. It offers four functions for a better window administration which
become accessible by a click of the right mouse button on the title bar of a certain
window. Besides of modifying the transparency of a window you can also minimize it into
the tray bar. With "Always on top" a window stays in the foreground. "To floating icon"
is great! It minimizes a window to the measure of an icon. To be able to recognize it
quickly the respective program icon is used. This icon can be moved by the mouse wherever
you want to on the desktop. With a double click it gets maximized again. In the context
menu of the icon you see the preview of the window content. If necessary, here you can
also modify the transparency of the icon. Each icon can be adjusted to "On top". The
adjustments that you obtain by a double click on the DM2 tray icon define the standard
values for the aspect and positioning of the floating icons. "Make screenshots when
hiding" refers to the window preview of a floating icon. Here you can de-activate this
function or adjust the length and breadth of the preview image. The "Favorits Menu" are
used to define the goal path for the window "Open/Save". The DM2 icon appears in the
dialog window on top right. For example, do you have to memorize a file in the folder
c:\temp a several times? As soon as you will have entered the path in the "Favorits Menu"
you will access it by this icon and immediately the goal path will be modified into
c:\temp.
