Provides tools to edit audio files
This program provides some tools for editing audio files (MP3, OGG, WAV, AU etc.).
Besides some sound effects you can cut out certain parts, copy and insert them as well as
complement pauses. There are an ID3 tag editor as well as functions for cross-fading and
automatic removal of crackle and noise. Also, other audio files can be integrated into
the currently opened file. The record function allows you to memorize everything that is
played by the Line in channel of your sound card. In order to be able to save a file in
the MP3 format you must download additionally
Lame DLL. You tell Audacity the path to the
DLL file by: Edit - Preferences - File Formats - "Find Library".

Converts also exotic audio formats
AudioMove converts audio formats of a rather inconspicuous subsistence including
types like SGI, AU, SND, RAW, PAF, IFF, VOC and Flac. As target format WAV, FLAC, OGG and AIFF are
at your disposal. With "Drag & Drop" or "Add files" the files are transferred into the
job list. In the area "destination folder" you determine the destination folder of the
new audio files. In addition to that, the sampling rate of the original can be elevated
up to 192kHz and respectively be reduced down to 11,025 kHz. A stereo file can be split
into mono files with the function "Split Multi-Track Files".

Displays the text of the ongoing song
AutoLyrix scans internet bases in order to display the text of the song that your media
player is playing. It also finds the respective cover of the album. The charged files can
be exported to iPod, iTunes Library or a MP3-file. AutoLyrix co-operates with players
like Winamp, iTunes, MediaMonkey, RealPlayer without any problems. In the "Preferences"
the support of all players can be activated. But before you do so, you should read the
prepared
instruction. For the Windows Media Player you need version 9, 10 and 11, each of
them plugins offered on the page
Supportedplayers. In "Preferences" you can also
modify the typeface and -size of the song text and set the tool on "Always on Top". The
Preferences can be adjusted manually in the file "prefs.ini" in the program folder. In
case the program does not start, you will need Microsoft .Net Framework from 2.0 forward.

Converting, encoding, decoding and cutting videos
AviDemux is intended for converting, encoding, decoding and cutting of video files. It
supports the AVI-format as well as the import and export of MPEG-1/2, VCD, SVCD and
DVD-videos. A special strong point of the program is the capacity of multiplexing and
demultiplexing of video and audio tracks. For movies, it calculates the time delay
between image and sound, synchronizes any video tracks with sound tracks and holds on
store numerous audio effects. As an example of use commercials are removed from a movie.
First, open the movie and then have the index compiled. You will receive the first
information about the video with "File - Information". Many broadcast stations use to
place a black image just before the commercials. This black image is to be found. Scroll
the slider up or down to place it just before the detected commercials block and then
click on the button "Next Black Frame" in the toolbar. Now AviDemux will search for the
next black blanking interval. This must be defined as the start crop mark (A). The same
way you have to find the blanking interval after the commercials block and define it as
end crop mark (B). Now press the delete button and this commercial block is deleted. Now
select the edition format of the fitted movie. If needed you dispose also video and audio
filters. After a click on the filter button you will receive a preview of the selected
filter. The auto-menu simplifies the adjustment of the previews of DVDs and (S)VCDs.
Finally you store the video by the file menu.

Memorizes music from online radio stations as MP3
The Shoutcast internet page offers many radio stations covering a large choice of
different styles. With BlockParty you tap a radio sender, play its music and memorize it
as MP3 file. The program transfers information like title and interpreter. First of all,
choose the radio station among a choice of different styles of music like jazz, pop and
classic. After a double click on the name of the radio station the entry can be edited.
This includes also the consideration of the designation as favorite in order to integrate
it into the favorites' category. A click on the start button and the program is played.
The lower bar shows the title of each track. With a click on the red circle you start
recording the on-going broadcast program. The recording scheduler appears. Here, the
recording time is limited. For example, if you enter "10 minutes" as "recording duration"
and enter "2" as number of block, two files with 10 minutes each will be stored.
BlockParty stores the files in the sub-folder "recordings" by default. The destination
folder can be modified in "settings" in the file menu. In the files' register you will
have a direct access to all stored recordings. You open the integrated ID3Tag-Editor with
a double click on a MP3-file. New stations can be added. To do so, or you import the play
lists (File - Import Playlist) or you click on the plus-button and create an entry in
particular. If you want to extract individual tracks from the MP3-files you have to use
an audio editor like
Audacity. In case the program does not start you will need
the Java Runtime Environment
1.6 (J2RE) or higher.

An excellent MP3-encoder and CD-ripper
The tool reads music files from CDs and converts them into WAV-format or encodes them as
MP3. In addition to that, the songs can be played as well and you can record music from
an external source connected to your sound card.

Cut and edit MPEG1 and MPEG2 videos without any new calculation!
With Cuttermaran you are able to cut and edit MPEG1 and MPEG2 videos without any new
calculation. This results in almost not perceivable displacements between the trace and
the sound track because the video stream and the audio stream are processed separately.
Though, for this purpose, movie and sound must be quasi decomposed first by a program
like ProjectX.
Once this is done, the video has one of these formats: MPV, M1V or M2V.
Cuttermaran needs the sound to be available as MP2, M2A, MPA, AC3, MP3, WAV or DTS. If
needed Cuttermaran even processes multiple sound tracks simultaneously. The easy-to-use
surface offers a comfortable preview window. You can skip between individual I-, P- or
B-frames just by a mouse click. Insert crop marks and manipulate your video and audio
tracks separately. Finally, Cuttermaran assembles the individual streams and produces out
of it a MPEG-video file.

Records your data on CD or DVD
Infra Recorder as a recording tool is absolutely recommendable. It copes with the
recording of Images (ISO, CUE), audio and data CDs/DVDs, the handling of multisession
CDs/DVDs as well as the copying of CDs and DVDs without copy protection. Besides, it
displays information about the introduced medium and locates automatically all connected
CD-writers. Infra Recorder encodes formats MP3, WAV and OGG for the recording of audio
CDs. The user interface is easy-to-handle. On the top left hand corner you have access to
the folder structure of your computer. On the right the files of a folder are listed. Use
"Drag & Drop" to take some of these files and add them to another project. For recording
all important functions are offered, for example defining the writing speed and mode,
finalizing the medium, simulating the recording process etc. Also, there is an
on-the-fly-mode at your disposal, which allows you to record data onto the medium without
any intermediate storage. ISO-images can be created out of a project composition as well
as a CD or DVD. Infra Recorder writes itself into the context menu of the file manager.

Exports iTunes playlists into formats that current standard players are able to control
Transfer playlists, having been created with iTunes, into formats which current standard
players are able to use! Besides M3U iTunes Export also supports Extended M3U (EXT),
which the list amplifies by information like the interpreter and the track title. In
addition to that, a WPL-playlist can be created especially for the Windows-Media-Player.
The tool automatically locates the iTunes library, an XML-file. Then, all playlists are
exhibited and you can choose all, only one or just a part of one. Now you must select the
destination for the playlist. A special feature of this tool is the possibility to have
the media files copied to the destination as well. Tick "Use Intl Extension (M3U8)" if
you want the list to support Unicode. iTunes Export uses as a standard folder for the
playlist the iTunes path under "Edit - Preferences - Advanced".
If the program does not start, you will need
Adobe Air.

Organizes and plays music files
Jajuk organizes and plays music files supporting formats OGG, MP3, AIFF, WAV and AU. In
addition to that, it absorbs M3u playlists. First choose a source (Config) which contains
audio files. It could be folders on your PC or in the network, an external hard disk, an
external player like an iPod or music files on a CD (not audio CDs). Based on this music
files Jajuk creates an index with both logical and physical structures. If needed, the
fields of the ID3-tags (v1 and v2) of MP3 and OGG files can be processed. Each collection
or playlist must be provided with an appropriate name. As a cover a GIF, JPG or PNG image
file subsisting in the source folder will be displayed. "Best of" and "Bookmarks" are
separate play lists any tracks of the collections can be assigned to. The statistic view
will inform you about the size per source and the style of music. If the set-up program
should not start, you will need additionally
the Java Runtime Environment
1.6 or higher.
