A combination of screen saver and animated desktop background images
A screensaver which animates pictures effectively provided that these exist in BMP-, JPG-
or TGA- format. The program package contains already its own images, the dremples, which
are used by default. Anyway, you also can add your own texture and motive pictures to the
list. In the features "Configure Drempels" you tell Drempels in which folder the pictures
are to be find (Get images from this folder). Also, you define the video mode, the time
between texture changes (0-60 seconds), the animation speed etc. And now an unusual extra
bonus: With "Run Drempels Desktop" you are not activating a screen saver but an animated
desktop background image! You just can go on working at your PC, but in case the
animation is bothering you, you just click on the Drempel icon in the tray bar. Here you
de-activate Drempels with "Suspend" and respectively re-activate it with "Resume". If
this icon is green, you can use the h-key to call up a help window with the hotkeys that
lead to further actions like an animation break or a texture change. You also can finish
the program completely with "Close Drempels" in the context menu of the tray icon. In our
test, the background animations consumed surprisingly few resources. On the Vista/7
Aero-Desktop Drempels does not run as background image.

Conjures chaotic structures similar to clouds onto your screen
Electric Sheep conjures chaotic structures similar to clouds onto your screen. The
particular thing about this screensaver is that it collects this colored animations from
other processors. As soon as it starts, the connected server calculates the animation of
a new 'sheep' in the background. Every 15 minutes this new dream structure is distributed
to the connected processors. Do you like especially one of these animations? With the
arrow-up-key you cause a positive evaluation. The more positive evaluations a new 'sheep'
receives, the longer it stays on the screen. Of course, you also can "punish" a 'sheep'
with the arrow-down-key. Introduce any nickname in the settings. In the field "Max
diskspace used by flock" you enable the hard disk memory. The higher the number, the more
animations can be collected and displayed. The level of the frame rates can be adjusted
to the capacity of your PC if needed.

Starts the Preset Screensaver Quickly
Normally you start a screensaver manually in 'desktop settings' or automatically after a
preset waiting time. Mousave opens a more direct way for you to start the preset
screensaver. For this purpose you activate one or more corners of your desktop in the
configuration menu. Then, the screensaver appears in a moment, once you draw the cursor
to any of the corners. You are able to adjust the amplitude and altitude of the active
surface of a corner.

Twelve animated, partially very effective screensavers
Really Slick Screensavers is a package of twelve animated screensavers. Euphoria and
Skyrocket, the pyrotechnics scenario, belong to the most effective ones.

This 3D screensaver presents fifteen roller coasters to you
RollerCoaster 2000 is a 3D screensaver which allows you to gaze with admiration at
fifteen roller coasters from different camera positions. When the simulation starts, it
looks very realistic. For setting up a screensaver click with the right mouse button on a
free desktop area and go to 'Properties' (or Peronalize). In the screensaver register,
please select RollerCoaster 2000 in the pop-up menu. After clicking on 'Settings' tick
'Random track mode' and integrate the path to the TRK files by the browse button. By
default it should be \WINDOWS\system32\rollercoaster_tracks\ or
\WINDOWS\system\rollercoaster_tracks. Now, coincidence decides which roller coaster will
appear. Without the above mentioned tick, in 'Track File' you can decide on a TRK
rollercoaster yourself, for example Brainstorm. The designing of the roller coasters
follows the specifications of a text file (*.trk). So you can be creative yourself and
design your own roller coasters. The track_format.txt file in the rollercoaster_tracks
folder explains what you have to take into account.
