2. Hosting, server logs and IONOS WebAnalytics
This website is hosted by IONOS. When you access the website, technically necessary access data may be processed by the hosting provider. This can include the requested page or file, referrer, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and the IP address.
We also use IONOS WebAnalytics to obtain statistical information about the use of this website. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics uses either log files or a tracking pixel and does not use cookies for this purpose. The IP address is transmitted when a page is requested, but is anonymised immediately after transmission and then processed without personal reference. IONOS states that WebAnalytics records, among other things, referrer information, requested pages or files, browser and operating-system information, device type, time of access and the anonymised IP address. The data is used solely for statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of the website and is not passed on to third parties by IONOS for this purpose.
The legal basis for the technically necessary processing and our statistical evaluation with IONOS WebAnalytics is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically optimised operation of the website and the statistical evaluation of its use.
Further information: IONOS information on WebAnalytics and data protection.
3. Cookies and consent management
Technically necessary functions may operate without consent where permitted by law. Technologies that are not strictly necessary, in particular advertising cookies or comparable identifiers used for Google AdSense, are activated only after consent where consent is legally required.
For visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we use a consent management platform compatible with the requirements of Google AdSense. Your selection can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the consent settings offered on the website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
The legal basis for processing based on your consent is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with the applicable rules on storing information on or accessing information from your device.
4. Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense, an online advertising service provided by Google, to display advertisements on this website. In the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the relevant Google entity is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and Opensource-DVD act as independent controllers for the respective processing carried out in connection with Google's publisher products.
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver, limit, measure and report advertisements and, where you have consented, to personalise advertising. Depending on your consent choice, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised. Even non-personalised ads can require technologies for functions such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention and security.
Where legally required, Google AdSense and the associated advertising technologies are loaded only after you have given the relevant consent through the consent management platform. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future through the consent settings on this website.
Google may process data on servers outside the country in which you live, including in the United States. Google states that it uses recognised legal mechanisms for international data transfers, including adequacy decisions and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. Contact
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we process the information you provide in order to respond to your request and any follow-up questions. Depending on the subject of the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted when it is no longer required for the communication, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. External links
This website may contain links to third-party websites. No data is transmitted to those providers merely because a normal external link is displayed. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the third-party provider applies.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
8. Right to object
Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object to such processing at any time.
9. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
10. Updates
