The objective of the project
In the future, the Opensource DVD will be regularly expanded and updated and is aimed to be a central platform of Opensource programs for Windows users.
Target group
The Opensource DVD appeals primarily to Windows users. Nevertheless a high percentage of the presented programs also suit for Linux.
Program categories
There is no preference of any subject area.
You can choose between
games (in preparation), image processing programs or little system helpers as well as Office packages, software for video and audio processing, tools for safety in the Internet and for systems optimization etc.
Program choice
Referring to the choice of programs quality comes first. Hence, we test all programs first. With our program commentaries and screenshots we intend to help the users to decide whether a certain program is suited for his needs or not.
The Opensource DVD in the press
